Jesus! What a week last week. Could harldly keep the presses running here before some new issue arose. We'll address them one-by-on today and tomorrow.
But, some real clarity around the time the Media Barons started their absurd, "17% R City (Los Angeles) Can't Elect R Candidate!"
That, later.
Start with Mr. Platner.
Ron Brownstein on the risk of Graham Platner
Can I say one last thing about this, but real quick, I'd love to get your thought on it.
I feel like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Ro Khanna are all so committed back for Democrats, Their model of nominating intensely populist, lefty, anti-corporate, blue-collar outsiders.
They are so determined to prove that they are right, that they are ignoring the question of whether Plattner is really still a viable vehicle to test that or Maine is the right place to test that.
And, you know, as long as they stand behind him, he's not going anywhere.
If he doesn't win, Democrats don't win the Senate. Trump confirms replacements for Alito and Thomas in 27 and 28. I think Sanders and Warren are going to have an awful lot to answer for.

MIKE MURPHY, HACKS ON TAP
And, we can summarize Mike Murphy below: Republican ad-makers now have exactly the kind of flawed Democratic vessel they know how to destroy.
If it's 15 points, it'll be like the media will say, 'Well, voters seem to be with this guy.' And then, next week he'll punch a cop. You know, I mean, this guy's got a flaw.
The press conference is the tell. When you get up to the press and say what we heard him say, it's like what dogs hear. Ra, ra, ra, ra, ra, blinky, ra, ra, ra, ra, ra, ra, blinky. His was blah, blah, blah, prove I'm lying. Blah, blah, blah, prove I'm lying.
And I think he IS lying.
So, how well he does today is more of a sidebar unless it's horrifically bad. And so it's a very unlucky situation for the dems. I'm with Adam.
I think this is a must win seat for the Ds and Collins's time is up, but boy, oh boy does she have a lifeline now with this guy and he's going to get nominated today.
And you know who's doing her campaign? I believe he has in the past and he's extremely capable and a hacks listener is Larry McCarthy. And if you think he doesn't know what to do. With Graham Platner, it's going to be can, can a doberman eat a steak.

And, I'm most proud of my own take. Of course! Right here, below.
Up against the saccharine yet sinister faux self-abasement that is all things Bulwark.(Saccharine yet sinister because to a person everyone at the Bulwark seems to still hold republican "undeserving poor" economics)
See - Platner's character is fully formed.
Have we learned nothing from Donald Trump?
People with ruined ethical beliefs act only in self-interest and only to self-enrich when faced with questions of public policy.
